When I first walked through the gate of this lakeside house, I honestly stopped for a second just to take in the view. You look out and there is Lake Lugano right in front of you, calm and glassy, with the Alps sitting behind it like a painting that never gets old. The villa is on the Italian side, very close to the Swiss border, so you really feel this mix of relaxed Italian life and the practicality of having Lugano just a short drive away.
